Interesting information. I'm not sure about the XJR-S production numbers. It looks authoritative, but certainly doesn't match anything I have (except for the convertibles which everyone knows is 50).
The reason for not having similar data on this web site is for the simple reason that it is all conflicting. If ever confirmed numbers can be established, then we'd put 'em on our site. Probably just a pipe dream. Maybe best is to just list all the various sets of production numbers and let readers be the judge...

Steve I think some one is adding in UK production pieces some way we had this problem when compiling the original list. The original Browns lane list I provided a couple of years ago was checked both in the UK and here and alleged to be correct i.e. 100 plus 5 show cars I think one or two LHD drive UK version cars were built and went to Europe and the far east but they are not in the Asprey series at all. These would justifiably appear on the UK registry which was in one of Lettia's recent publications. Hope you are doing well I have 68 convertible and 91 coupe on the road and doing shows 4 in October in Florida. Currently I am working with Paul on a XK150 3.4 roadster which was a special build for a lady in Canada Red with WHITE interior, plan to get it back to as shipped condition for next year right now the frame is powder coated and the suspension and engine are on the frame body is close to being ready to paint. If you know of any one interested in a Mk 9 one owner car all original except for the outside paint, the car is in Rhode island and is driven for weddings and special events, 20000 is being sort for the car but I think it will go for a lot less if pushed which for a car that has always been in one family not a bad price Cheers Derry Haynes
