The following questions will need to be answered as part of Step 3 of the registration process (questions marked with an 'X' are mandatory). You should print out this page (there's a print icon at the lower right corner of each page) and fill in the fields that require identification numbers that are found at various locations on your car. If you don't know where to find them, click on the button bar below to open our library document which has detailed photos indicating the exact location of these ID numbers.
If you have a problem reading the Body Number OR the Engine Serial Number, just enter '0' for the one for which you are having a problem. Note that we must have one or the other, at a minimum.
VIN & Other Numbers
After you print out and fill in the table, you can return to this page and click on the button bar immediately below the table to go to the membership registration screen. There you will select the '1st car' membership type, fill in the registration form, and await our confirmation by e-mail. Note that at Step 4, you will need to click the 'Add State' link under 'Tools', where you will be presented with a list of regions which can be expanded to show the comprising states and provinces. Please select the state in which you reside. The purpose of this step is to activate the 'Members by Region' functionality for your membership (see Q6 under 'Web Site Usage' in the FAQ for more detail). And speaking of FAQ, we really do recommend that you at least read the sections pertaining to 'The XJR-S Registry' and 'Web Site Usage' before proceeding - sometimes directions do help).
FAQ
If you have additional cars to register, you must wait until you receive confirmation of your membership before attempting to register more cars. After you've been accepted as a member, log in and you will now see several more menu items, including 'Register More Cars?'. Clicking on that selection will explain the process you need to follow for your additional car(s).
